Fenestraria rhopalophylla

R4500,00R6000,00

Commonly called “Baby Toes” it originates from Namaqualand in the Northern Cape to Luderitz in Namibia. In the wild they grow mostly buried by sand and the transparent leaf tips are often above the sand to allow light into the leaves for photosynthesis. Fenestraria means ‘window’ in Latin, which is where the name comes from and it’s a genus comprising only one specie and one subspecies.
