I just can’t get over how rich the red hues are on this beautiful orchid! 😍❤️ It’s a beautiful Masdevallia ignea, and it’s a cold growing terrestrial orchid endemic to Colombia. It’s common name is ‘The Christmas Orchid’ and it is found in the Eastern Cordillera of Colombia at elevations of 2600 to 3800 meters.
